Biography
George and Agnes Sharpe
George Washington Sharpe was born on Aug 9, 1848 in Davidson County, North Carolina, USA. His parents were David Stokes Sharpe and Sarah Angeline Young. His family moved from Davidson County to Eagle Mill Township, Iredell County, North Carolina sometime between 1857 and 1860. George married Agnes Rosanna Wooten (1849-1918) in 1871 in Iredell County.
