"Archibald and Mourning (Shelton) Woods" emigrated from Albemarle Co. to Madison Co., Kentucky.[2]
"The remains of himself [Archibald Woods] and his first wife. Mourning Shelton, were interred in the family burying ground about two miles northeast of Richmond, not far from the residence on Otter Creek, now owned and occupied by Jeptha Chenault, but were subsequently many years ago removed and re-interred in the Richmond Cemetery, where they now rest."[3]
