Biography

Mary was the daughter of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Selina Finch. Lady Mary Shirley married Charles Tryon, of Bulwick, and had 11 children. She died 17 May 1771, age 68 years, and is buried in Twickenham, Middlesex, England, [1].

Research Notes

This profile used to have "together with her husband and daughter" added to her death and burial but I find no source for that. The Tryon Family Bible has records for all Charles's children and wife but none for Charles himself. Tradition has it that he was buried in Bulwick Parish but that and his death date are also in doubt.
