This is NOT the profile of John Smith on the Little River. That John is very well documented with his family.

Also, middle names were not used in this time period.

John Smith wrote his will 10 Mar 1783 in Bertie County.[1] Family members listed were wife Anna, sons Josiah and John, daughter Sarah Smith West, son Henry, son (unreadable), and daughter Mary.
