female, 40, white, born in Virginia (~1810), read & write... household of Benjamin Chancellor (husband).
Death
Date: bef 1860
Place: Scotland County, Missouri ?
This date is based on the fact that she is listed in the 1850 census, but not the 1860 census. No record of her death has been found yet. The place is based on the fact that her husband is listed in the 1860 census in Scotland County, Missouri, alone. It's very possible he migrated there after her death instead of before, which would mean she died in Virginia. No trace of any of the children has been found yet in 1860 either in Virginia or in Missouri... [1]

Smith-24602 and Sinnett-116 appear to represent the same person because: Benjamin Chancellor's wife's maiden name was Sinnett, not Smith. Since there is already a profile for Phebe Sinnett, I'm going to put in a merge request instead of changing the LNAB on this profile.
