Biography

"Sarah Sparrow the daughter of Richard and Mercy Sparrow was born at Eastham on the twentyeth day of July Anno Dom : 1708."[1][2]

"Edmond ffreeman & Sarah Sparrow were married by Joseph Doane Esqr September 24 : 1729" at Eastham (or Orleans).[3] She was his second wife. They had two children:[4][5]

  • Jonathan, b. 22 Feb 1729/30
  • Edmund, b. 13 Feb 1731

Sparrow-322 and Sparrow-107 do not represent the same person because: i believe that these are different women, but with the dates mixed up. Sarah Sparrow married Edmund Freeman in 1729. He did not die until many years later, so, unless there was a divorce, she could not have married Enos Knowles. There is no doubt that a Sarah Sparrow married Enos, but I don't think it was the wife of Edmund Freeman.
