Biography
Alban Spencer was born 13 January 1785 in Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA, to parents Ephraim Spencer and Sarah Stoddard. He married Abigail Stoddard 19 January 1807 in Litchfield.[1]

NOTE re ALBAN's wife. Found no Abigail Stoddard born in Litchfield at an age to have been Alban's wife in 1807. I reviewed John Stoddard of Wethersfield, Conn. and his descendants... (https://archive.org/details/johnstoddardofwe00patt/mode/2up/), and although the book contained several Abigails, none were in Litchfield, nor were any of the correct age to have married Alban. No profile was prepared for Alban's Abigail Stoddard.
