Research Notes
This profile for Robert de Spineto had been added as a son of Roger de Toeni and his wife Constance de Beaumont, but according to a reliable source, they had three sons; Ralph IV, Roger and Richard a cleric[3] there is no mention of a Robert de Spineto and consequently they have been removed as his parents.
This profile also originally had a birth place of Sampford, Spiney, Devonshire, England. Possibly Spiney is the modern equivalent of his name Spineto, but at this stage there are no sources to confirm this. The same for his birth date of 1199.
