Birth

William was born 7 May 1650 at Hingham. He was the son of William Sprague. Lincoln's History of Hingham reports his baptism as 2 Jul 1650. [1][2]

William was baptized 2 Jul 1650 at Hingham.[3][2]

Marriage

William married first at Hingham, 30 Dec 1674 to Deborah Lane. She was the daughter of Andrew and Triphany Lane. She was born in Hingham on 20 June 1652. She died 4 Feb 1706/07 aged 55 yrs.[1][2]
He married second intentions published 5 Nov 1709 to Mary Tower. She was the daughter of of Jeremiah and Elizabeth (Rowland) Tower. She was born in Hingham on 3 Nov 1672.[1][2]

William was one of the selectman of Hingham 1690, 1699. 1708.[1]
He removed to Providence, Rhode Island between 1709 and 1711.[1] Nov 19 1709, William bought land in Providence.[2]

He died 26 Sep 1723 Providence, Providence, Rhode Island
