On 22 August 1710, his widow Sarah was granted the letter of administration for his estate.[3]
On 25 October 1710, his widow, Sarah, and his sons, Samuel, Nathan, John, and James signed a real estate distribution agreement to settle the estate. another agreement was signed by his sons and daughters, Sarah, decd, late wife of Joseph Holmes (her son John Holmes), Hannah, wife of John Rogers, Mary, wife of Nathan Williamson, and Joana, wife of John Holmes.[4]
His inventory was taken on 13 September 1710 in Marshfield and recorded in Plymouth.[4]

Note: Samuel married by 1666 to Sarah Chillingworth, eldest child of Thomas Chillingworth.
Anderson, in "The Great Migration Begins," states that "everyone" says that the maiden name of the Sarah who Samuel married was Chillingworth, but that there is no documentary evidence to support this statement.

Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Sargent Samuel Sprague in 1667 was a surveyor of highways and later held important town offices 63 times. He was chosen in 1686 to be secretary of the Plymouth Colony. In 1710 his estate following his death was divided among his eight children.
