Ralph de Stafford, 1st s. and h. apparent of Ralph Stafford, 1st Earl Stafford and Margaret Audley. He m. 1 Nov 1344 Maud, elder da. and coh. of Henry Lancaster, Duke of Lancaster and Isabel de Beaumont. He d. by 1347; his widow m. (2) in 1352 William V, Duke of Bavaria and dsp. 10 Apr 1362.

Research Notes

Obv. child marriages (aet. 7 & aet 5) CP has a note "See ante, vol. vii, p. 410, sub LANCASTER; Maud was 22 in 1361, only 8 at the death of her husband in 1348.
