Archibald Stewart was the born about 1593 in Ballintoy, Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of Ninian Stewart and his wife Grissel.[1]

As his mother was born after 9 Oct 1590 and noting that she could not have married until after 9 Oct 1602, one can infer his birth aftr 25 Jun 1603.
