Anderson Stith was the son of John Stith (abt.1710-1762) and Elizabeth (Anderson) Stith (abt.1700-1774). He was born about 1730.
In July 1749, he produced a license as an attorney and was admitted to practice in the Charles City County Court, Virginia.[1]
He married Joanna (Bassett) Stith (abt.1730-abt.1793). Her will names three children:
Anderson Stith died in 1768. His wife Joanna was the executrix of his estate and advertised for the sale of 25 slaves, household and kitchen furniture, livestock and tools in Rind's Virginia Gazette on 3 March 1768.[2]
