Abraham was born in 1811, the son of Coleman Stubblefield and Martha Looney. He passed away in 1866.

From the "Find a Grave Index" citation : Ransom Bettis STUBBLEFIELD s/o Abraham Bettis STUBBLEFIELD & 1st wife Margaret LOONEY 1816-1845 [he was the youngest of Margaret’s 4 children with Abraham Bettis STUBBLEFIELD] He was born 22 October 1844 and died March of 1860 (he drowned age 15) never married died w/o issue.
