Biography

Birth

Based on the estimated date of her first known marriage by June 1687, Ann Taylor was probably born before 1667. She was the daughter of Arthur Taylor.[1]

Marriages

Ann Taylor married first James Greer in Baltimore County, Province of Maryland, before 6 June 1687, when her father Arthur Taylor conveyed 75 acres at Arthur's Choice to James and Ann Greer.[2][1][3]

James Greer died and Ann married second Lawrence Richardson before 1700, when Lawrence Richardson was identified in the Baltimore County rent rolls as holding the 75 acres of Arthur's Choice in trust "for the orphants of James Greear."[4][5]

Lawrence Richardson died before 13 June 1705, when Ann posted bond for the administration of his estate in Baltimore County.[6] She married third Oliver Harriott before 13 June 1711, when she is identified as Ann, wife of Oliver Harriott in the probate file for Lawrence Richardson's estate.[7][6][8] She is identified as "Ann Harriott," the mother of John Greer, in a 1714 land record in which she waived her dower rights in the 75 acres of Arthur's Choice conveyed by her father to her and her first husband James Greer in 1687.[9]

Death

Ann Harriott died 13 May 1716 in Baltimore County, Province of Maryland.[10]
