The use of the title "Jarl" this early in Scandinavia is more or less unheard of. Wikipedia on Scandinavian Jarls. The title will, however, be left for now in an attempt to find other "Jarls of Sula". Andersson-4409 07:32, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
(Styrbjarnar þáttr Svíakappa i Flatöboken.)
This profile is meant to represent the father of Ingeborg Thrandsdotter who, according to Norse myths/legends, married Olof Björnsson (one of the semi-legendary Swedish kings).
The title "Jarl" was not used this early in Scandinavia. If he really was some kind of ruler/chieftain in/on Sula he would most likely be born in what we in modern-day relate to as the country of Norway. Sula is, however, not listed among the petty kingdoms of Norway in this Wikipedia article; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petty_kingdoms_of_Norway
There is no information easily found for this profile, except for other online trees with no sources at all. The name Thrand is not mentioned in the Norwegian part of MedLands either.
