DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Christine by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Christine:
Christine (Tillman) Abernathy is listed as being born in 1677 and "marrying" Robert Abernathy in 1675 which was two years before she was even born. Additionally, James Abernathy, son of Christine Tillman and Robert had a son James born in 1725 yet the biography says that Christine died in 1720 which was five years before she had James and Robert would have been almost 70.
I amconfusedby thedates. If Christine Tilghman was born about 1681 she married when she was 9 years old. I have been searching for an accurate date. One I found was 1660 but her mother was quite young when Christine was born if it is accurate. Help....
Will you please help me check dates and places for this family. Thanks!
