ROGER TILLMAN, the son of George Tillman and Mary House was born 2 December 1701 in Prince Georges County, Virginia and died 5 February 1761 in Brunswick County, Virginia.
He married Mary Goodrich in 1723 and in 1747 moved to Northampton County, North Carolina. He returned to Virginia within two years. In 1758 Roger was serving as a member of the Brunswick unit of the Virginia militia. [1]
Roger Tillman and his siblings: George, William, Elizabeth Butler, Tabetha Butler, Mary Avery, and Sarah Hunt are named in his father's will dated 19 Apr 1756.
