Mother Alice of Huntingdon b. c 1075, d. a 1148

Margaret Toeni married Walter Clifford, Baron of Clifford's Castle, son of Richard FitzPonce and Maud FitzWalter. [1]

Margaret Toeni was born circa 1109 at Northumberland, England.

She died before 1185 at of Clifford Castle, Hay, Herefordshire, England.[2]

Note that the Wikipedia article we are citing is (against Wikipedia rules) citing a personal genealogy page, so it does not seem to have much authority at this stage.

The argument that she was a de Toeni does not appear to be very strong? Round thinks Walter's father already held Clifford. MEDLANDS thinks Eyton is the source of the idea and was not himself very strongly attached to it.
