Barbara Ellen Toney was born on October 22, 1842 in Isabel Township, Fulton, Illinois, United States, daughter of Jesse Toney (1793–1878) and Anna Marilla Doran (1815–1881).^[1]

Barbara married Charles Gibson (born in 1840). Their children were:

2. Minnie Gibson (~1867– )

Barbara (31) married Leonard Lynn Gable (20) (born on February 17, 1853 in Oklahoma, United States) in 1874. Their children were:

1. Frank Gable (~1870– )
2. Jesse Gable (~1872– )

Barbara died on November 25, 1906 in Oklahoma, United States, aged 64. She was buried in Gable Cemetery, Prague, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.^[1]
