Betty J. Revard, 87, Logansport, passed away at 4:37 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 24, 1922, in Mount Clemens, Mich., she was the daughter of Elmer and Blanche Humphrey Tromley. On Aug. 24, 1940, in Mount Clemens, Mich., she was married to Richard Theodore Revard, who preceded her in death May 5, 1974.
A homemaker and mother of nine, Betty started working as a lunch lady at Mount Clemens High School when her children were grown.
She and her husband owned and operated a motel with a restaurant where she used her skills as an excellent cook. In later years, she worked as a hospice aide.
Surviving are three daughters, Betty Snay, Florida, Jenny Jamerson, Logansport, and Frances Colpitts, New York; three sons, Peter Revard, Texas, Robert Revard, North Carolina, and David Revard, Fort Wayne; one brother, Kenneth Tromley, Michigan; and several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Revard, two daughters, Lorraine Dyer and Ann Marie Gerner; and six siblings.
Private family graveside services will be held in St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Mount Clemens, Mich.
