Of Treves-7 and Trèves-38 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same parents. Different date he died but this fact needs to be sourced.

Trèves-38 and Treves-30 appear to represent the same person because: Most likely the same individual. Treves-30 has very little information, but what is there makes it statistically improbable that these are two different individuals. Treves-30 is not attached to any ancestors, siblings, or descendants, and therefore is not attached to the worldwide family tree. Merging Treves-30 into Treves-38 would clean up an unattached profile.

Van Trier-9 and Treves-7 appear to represent the same person because: Resubmitted with more information this time. Similar names (different languages). Same father and mother. Children are different but check WIkipedia article. This would make the profile more complete as each profile has different legit children. Profile will be slightly better as it will include the 3rd child and no other clutter will come with. This part of a large effort to cleanup this person's duplicate manually entered profiles in this time line.

Van Trier-9 and Treves-7 are not ready to be merged because: Van Trier-9 has little information, and what it does have in terms of mother's name and offspring's name does not match. Clearly its the same person, but it would create even more of a mess on Treves-7 were it merged than not.

These wives need to be merged, but I'm not sure where to start.
