George Tucker Sr is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A116632.
George Tucker was born on 2 Jan 1743 in Brunswick County, Virginia. (It was later Lunenburg County, Virginia, the second of nine known children and the second of eight sons of George and Jemima Malone Tucker.
In 1763, when he was about twenty, he married Maria Clay. She bore him fourteen children, ten sons and four daughters:

  4. Rosanna Tucker
  5. Joseph Tucker
  6. Jacob Tucker
  7. James Tucker
  8. George Tucker

  14. Margaret Tucker.
In September 1804, when he was in his early sixties, George died of unknown causes in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
