William was born about 1705. He was the son of Mark Tune and Elizabeth Lewis. He was named in the will of his father dated 21st September 1717 in Richmond County and proved 4 June 1718.[1]
Numerous children were recorded born to William and his wife Joannah in the North Farnham Parish Register to include:[2]
Rawleigh, b. 6 Jan 1726
Elizabeth, b. 19 April 1729
Samuel, b. 25 Jan 1731
Henry, b. 28 July 1734
William, b. 20 Feb 1738
Tarpley, b. 24 Feb 1741
Leanna, b. 16 April 1745
His will was dated 27th February 1755 in Richmond County and proved 3rd June 1755. He named his sons Henry, William, Samuel, Tarpley, and daughter Leanna.[3]
