Amasa Tuttle was born on 4 May 1767, in New Haven County of Connecticut Colony.
Amasa married Esther Tolles, who died on 23 Dec 1792, at the age of 22.[1][2]
Amasa married a second time, to Mary Beecher, in 1794.
He died on 2 Jan 1827, in Bethany, New Haven, Connecticut, United States.[3][4] He was buried with his first wife, Esther Tolles, in Carrington Cemetery, in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut, United States.[5][6]
A son of Amasa and Mary Beecher is also buried at Carrington Cemetery. Unfortunately, the name and date of death are illegible in the available photo.[7]
Research Notes
Further search needs to be made, perhaps into church records, for documentation of Amasa's birth and life. Too much of the documentation seems to depend on the grave stone in Carrington Cemetery.
