Biography

Enos was born in 1713. He passed away in 1802.

From "The descendants of William and Elizabeth Tuttle, who came from old to New England in 1635, and settled in New Haven in 1639, with numerous biographical notes and sketches : also, some account of the descendants of John Tuttle, of Ipswich; and Henry Tuthill, of Hingham, Mass." by George Frederick Tuttle. 465. Enos Tuttle, m. April 23, 1741, Mary Todd; (2) Martha Brockett. In 1752, adm. on est. of Ruth Lothrap, late of Wall'd, was given to Enos Tuttle, jr., of New Haven, in rt. of his wf. Martha, who was Martha Brockett, half sis. to dec. His will, dated Aug. 13, 1796, called of Hamden, proved Jan., 1803, exhibited by Simeon Bristol, exr., nms. wf. Martha; gr. s. Lyman, s. of Hezekiah; s. Enos; daus., Martha, Sibyl, Silence, Thankful, Lydia. He had bap. in Cheshire, Conn., Dec. 8, 1751, (annexed from Hamden), Silence, Hezekiah, Martha, and Thankful.

Tuttle-3113 and Tuttle-863 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents and siblings. The newer profile (Tuttle-3113) is more complete overall though it needs the mother (Esther Doolittle Tuttle) added. JRE 10/28/19
