Hannah (Birchard) Baldwin was born in Essex, England.
Hannah (alias Ann), the eighth daughter and youngest of ten children of Thomas Birchard and Mary Robinson was born in 1633 and baptized 17 October of that year at Terling, Essex, England.[2][3][4]
Hannah emigrated with her family, at age 18 months in 1635. She was called Ann on the manifest.[1][4][5][2]
Hanna (alias Burchet on the marriage record) married John Baldwin, son of John and Hannah Baldwin of Buckinghamshire, England on 12 April 1653 at Guilford, Connecticut.[6][5][2][7][4][8] Hannah and John had five children.
Hannah, John and their family moved from Guilford to Norwich in 1660 where he was one of the thirty original proprietors of Norwich, Connecticut.[9]

The death of Hannah Birchard, the wife of John Baldwin was unrecorded.[5] Hannah Baldwin's death was not in the Barbour Collection records.
