Mary Wilshyre was born or baptized 28 Feb 1591 in Terling, Essex, England.[1]
A recently indexed marriage record for John Wilcox and Mary Wylsher, 12 Oct 1615, in Terling,Essex,England,[2] is a good fit given what we know. Unfortunately we don't know enough. We don't know where John was from. So far no subsequent baptisms of children have been located in the same area.
Perhaps future research will prove Mary Wylsher was wife of the immigrant to Hartford, John Wilcocks.
Mary[3][4][5][6] married John Wilcox about 1615 in England.[7]
She emigrated from England with husband John Wilcox, son John and daughter Sarah around 1635. Her oldest daughter Ann may have also been with them under her husbands name, John Hall who was also an original proprietor of Hartford.
She survived her husband and died about 1668 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.
