Name
Isaac Updegraff / Updengraff / Op Den Graeff / Graeff
Note: It was during Isaac's generation that the family surname was changed from Op Den Graeff to Updegraff.
After Isaac Graeff's marriage to Marie [1] Baisler / Basilher, they moved to Chester county, Pennsylvania where Isaac was employed by the Potts family to work at their iron works at Pine Forge and at Colebrookdale (Colebrook). The latter township is located just east of Harrisburg near the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
