Biography
Phebe was born in 1798. She is the daughter of Jessee Vail and Elizabeth Buckhoudt.
Phebe married Abraham Van Vorhees, 9 Jun 1810, Fishkill, Dutchess, New York, United States.
- Abraham and Phebe had four children, all died without issue.
- John Henry, 1811-1813, age 2
- Isaac, 1813-1832, age 19 (also buried in this cemetery)
- Henry Martin, 1816-1834, age 18
- Susan, 1819-1824, age 5
In 1850, Phebe, age 60, wife, living in Fishkill, Dutchess, New York, United States.
She passed away 31 March 1858. She did not leave a will and her estate was in probate. Her sister Jane Ann Vail petitioned for her estate valued at $15.
