Hi Mary,

Thank you for your note. If you hit Compare next to Higginbotham-640 at the bottom of the profile you created, it will bring up a side by side comparison. At the top of that screen is Merge button. When you click that it will tell you they are an unmerged match. Click the button to remove it, and confirm it, then propose the merge of the two and indicate a reason such as same birthplace and similar dates. If there was more information on the profiles to compare, you could add text about that as well. Once you've entered a comment, click Merge and you will have approved the merge from your end. The other profile manager will also have to approve it. After he/she does, the two can be merged. Thank you for helping to grow our family tree.

It looks like you may have created a duplicate today: Charles Higginbotham appears to duplicate Higginbotham-640. Their birth years are very close and the place is the same. Would you please take a look, and if you agree, propose them for merging? We only want one profile per person. Thank You! ...You to...My mom's Bell's are from Massachusetts and NY, We would just love to see a picture of him or anyone in his family ..My mom has never seen pictures! ..and she looks nothing like her mom..and we all look like her!..lol and yes it has affected her all her life, ,ty so much for your nice email .
