Research Notes
The following is taken from an e-mail from Don Davidson:
"William M. Davidson died an early and tragic death leaving Mollie with five small boys to raise by herself. She was very distraught about the turn of events and never remarried. She was left practically destitute and it was a difficult struggle to raise the five boys... Dad said after Millie died one of her daughters-in-law took all her meager belongings and her documents, if any, outside and burned them in the yard."

Dec 15 1887 pg. 65. The following are the appointed officers of the Ladies chapter to serve the ensuing year: Mrs. Mollie Davidson. Mrs. W. M. Davidson
April 5, 1888 pg. 77- Strayed from the undersigned last Saturday, April 1 a gray horseabout 9 years old, over 14 hands high, shoes only on forefeet, harness marks on sides and shoulders. Any information concerning said animal will be thankfully received. - Mrs. W.M. Davidson, Evening Shade, Ark.
Aug 30 1888 pg. 90: One of Mrs. Mollie Davidson's little sons has been very sick but is now better.
