Sarah Waite 1675 born in Hatfield, Massachusetts to Benjamin and Martha (Leonard) Waite[1]
19 September 1677 (age 2) captured along with her mother and two older siblings by Indians and marched to Canada. Her father along with another man rescued them.[1]
She married John Belding, son of Samuel and Mary Belding,[1] in 1694 in her hometown. They had nine children in 22 years.
"4. John, s. of Samuel, (1) res. at Hatfield and was killed at a raising, Oct. 8, 1725 ae 56. M. Sarah, perhaps Wait, dau of Benjamin. She m. (2) Nov. 25, 1726, ________ Allis.
