Elisha Wallen was born in 1795.[1][2]
In 1811, Elisha accompanied the Hughes family to Missouri.[1][2]
In 1812, Elisha was a private in the war of 1812.[1][2][3]

- Need to research whether his father is actually Berryman Wallen (son of Elisha Walling and Catherine Blevins died young at about 27, in 1797) because the sources show Catherine Blevins as his mother, but she would have been 60 at his birth.
