5) Johann Adolf, b. 15 March 1700 - sp.: Johann Adolf Reffi at Niederhausen, Johann Peter Schreiber, and Anna Juliana - d/o Franz Schneider (Runkel Chbk.). Just as the male Christian names Theobald and David, and Melchior and Michael sometimes interchange in colonial N.Y. church and civil recordsof the 18th century, the names of Adolf and Adam also often refer to the same person;... Thus Johann Adolf Walrath was noted both as Adolf and Adam in N.Y. colonial records. A Johan Adolph Walrath was nat. 28 Feb 1715/1716 (Albany Nats.). Johann Adam sp. Johann Leer at Schoharied in 1717 (West Camp Luth. Chbk.). I often have wondered if the John Walrave who md. 8 Nov 1721 Anna Ridder at the Albany Ref. Church might have been Johann Adolf (HJ). Adam Walrath singed a subscription list for the future German Flats Ref. Church in 1753; his signature was next to Jahannes Wallrath (V}osburg's edition of the German Flats Chbk., Vol. II). The devastating loss of Mohawk Valley Chbks. make the compiling of Walrath 2nd and 3rd generations extremely difficult, but a probable list of the ch. of Johann Adolf/Johann Adam (whose wife was called Anna Barbara in 1751 at Stone Arabia Ref. Church) would include: [see linked profiles].[1]
Johan was born in 1700. Johan Wallrad ... He passed away in 1759. [2]

NOTES:
Research on the net finds that there is a Johann Adolph Walrath, born 1711, in Palatine, New York. Surely a different from this profile, so they should not be confused.
I have found a bit of support for Kim Roman's statement. [1]
states: [1711] "November 17th: Christina Elisabetha, born November 8th, child of Gerhard and Anna Maria WALLRATH. Sponsor: Christina Elisabetha JAEGER."

However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johann:
Walderon-1 and Walrath-12 appear to represent the same person because: One of three profiles that appear to be this same man. Same wife. Birth data are essentially the same. Since Walderon-1 has no connected parents, there are no merge conflicts to prevent merging.
