He is known to have had three children — William Kester, probably the oldest, born about 1733; Rebecca Kester, born the 12th day of the 12th month, 1738; and John Kester, born the 31st day of 7th month, 1744; and he is believed to have had a son, Samuel Kester, the date of whose birth is unknown. It is said he died when his children were yet young, and this would indicate that his death occurred about 1745 to 1750. His daughter Rebecca, married Joseph Webster in 1768, his son John (see Appendix 306                    THE KESTER FAMILY — PART I. K) married Hannah Webster in 1766, his son Samuel married Leah Vickers in 1759 (Buckingham m. m. records), and the record of his son William is as given below. Page 587: KESTER - Hermanus Kester (born 1703), son of Jo- hannes Kuster, was a member of the Kingwood, New Jersey, Monthly Metting of Friends.  Much information about this family may be obtained from the minutes of that meeting and also in a history of the "Hambleton Family," by Chalkey J. Hambleton, and in the "Annals of Our Colonial Ancestors," by Ambrose M. Shotwell, of Concord, Michigan.  In the last named work is also some information concerning the family of John Kester and Rebecca Kester (children of Paul Kester, son of Johannes Kuster), though the names of three of John's children, Rachel, Anna and Hannah, are omitted.

Webster-609 and Webster-603 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, dates, locations. I think it may have been caught earlier, if her husband had been correct instead of misnamed as Jester.

Marty, I just completed an edit of this profile, using the books I do have, Hunt's and White's. Wesley was used by Joe D. Sneed. The other sources that were posted by him or others are temp. listed under References, until I can proof them. I do know that the 3 shown are Quaker/Society Of Friends/Monthly Meetings.

Marty, thank you so much for the post. I found this profile, Orphaned, when I went to add Hannah Webster to John Kester. Some of my sources are shown, some where already here. I am not in agreement with all the connections also, they are here by others. But it is something we are all working on together, and that is why you posted. Most of my best documented sources are in my TMG, which I am currently unable to get into, my other sources, which I am double checking and editing the data/Biography/Sources/References with now. Most of my work was done in 1980's into 1990's before internet and url links, so I do not have those right off. Many of the Orphaned profile I have picked up and many already created profiles by others, I have not done a lot of source checking on or editing ...

same question that I had for all the listed siblings, with parents listed as Joseph and Elizabeth Webster.

Do you have a pedigree for Hannah Webster Kester

I'd like the urls if possible. You have done a great job on the profiles you manage, but here is the HEADS UP The Grandparents of Hannah Webster are going to be disconnected maybe, Because there was an error on the data for Elizabeth Shotwell and Joseph Webster. That couple did marry but I have no evidence of the many children listed for them, including Lundy and Kester daughters. Elizabeth Shotwell death occured before the birth date of Hannah Webster. You can email me directly if you wish.
