Biography

Obituary

Jack T. Weilant, 74, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005, at Lake Park. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and sister, Janice Weilant. Jack was a molder 30 years at LOF, retiring in 1985. A Korean War veteran, Jack was also a lifetime member of the N.R.A. He loved the outdoors, in particular hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving is his son, James; daughters, Cheryl McRitchie, Elaine (Kim) Marlow and Susan (Willis) Hatfield; grandchildren, Troy (Sandy) McRitchie, Trent McRitchie, Martin Steele, Jennifer Campanian, Dean Campanian, Sarah Hatfield and Caleb Hatfield; sister, Rita Zorovich; brother, James (Reba) Weilant, and special friends Steve and Paula Coughlin. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 2-8 Sunday. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park where the Lucas Co. Burial Corps will provide a final salute.
