Weld-140 and Weld-18 appear to represent the same person because: No person of this name existed. She is a confusion with Elizabeth Weld who married Edward Denison.
Though Joseph Weld mentioned "daughter Denison" in his will, I wonder if this actually refers to his eldest daughter, Elizabeth, who married Edward Denison on March 30, 1641, some five years before the death of Joseph. As Denison is only mentioned in the will as "affirming the down bed my wife's mother gave her", one may assume that as she was married she had probably been given a marriage "portion" that formed her inheritance -- the rest of her siblings and half-siblings were all unmarried at the death of their father. A Denison is not listed amongst Joseph's children, but Elizabeth who married Edward Denison is. (Great Migration Project, Vol. VII entry for Joseph Weld).
Thank you.
