Biography

When Elizpha (Zilpha) Westcott was born in 1729 in Scituate, Rhode Island, her father, Ezekiel, was 27, and her mother, Mary, was 27. She married Abraham Salisbury in Vermont. They had seven children in 10 years. She died in 1795 in Clarendon, Vermont, at the age of 66.

Zilpha Sophia Westcott is my 4th great grandmother.(b.1729 RI and d.1795 VT) She married Abraham Salisbury (b.1730 d.1814 VT) They were married in 1760 in RI. I know of one daughter they had named Mary Salisbury b. 16 Nov 1763 Clarendon,Rutland,VT d.01 Aug 1844, VT. She m. James S. Eddy b.08 Jul 1764 RI and d. 29 Jun 1849 VT.
