Biography

Deacon Samuel White was born to Captain Ebenezer and Hannah White of Weymouth, where he was born in 1676. Note: He is NOT the Samuel White born on Sept 19, 1676, who was a son of Thomas. This Samuel is not shown in the Weymouth Vital Records. [1]

Samuel White and Anna Pratt were married by 1700 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. WHITE, Samuel (?1676-1760) & Anna/Ann [PRATT] (1682-1757), dau Matthew Jr.?; by 1696, ca 1700?, by 1700; Weymouth {Vinton Mem. 369, 373; M. Pratt Gen. 39; Reg. 53:394} [2]

Note: This Samuel3 White was conflated in the History of Weymouth with Capt. Samuel3 (Joseph2) White, Both had a wife Anna.
Note: Shoemaker, lived in South Weymouth, Massachusetts and was chosen deacon of the church there 17 Feb 1726.

White-72331 and White-5128 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year, same sibling, same father. There is a difference in the exact birth date which is addressed on White-5128. Please merge, using the birth date from White-5128.

According to this source, the Samuel White who married Anna Pratt was the son of Ebenezer White and his wife Hannah Phillips. He was born in 1676, but the specific date belongs to the Samuel White who was the son of Thomas White. Samuel was the son of Thomas and Mary (Pratt) White (see Weymouth VR's, 2:345. Making change to reflect correct parents.
