Mary Madison Willis was born on December 18, 1745, in Virginia, the child of John Willis and Elizabeth Madison[1]. She married Col. William Daingerfield, Jr.[2] in 1763, of this marriage there were ten children. She died on her plantation, Coventry, in Spotsylvania County[3] on February 16, 1819.
