Biography

Shepard was born on 29 January 1825 in ?Marshall County, Alabama, USA?.[1]

When Shepard was 18 he married Clarinda Caroline Stanphill on 21 December 1843 in Marshall County, Alabama, USA. The couple had 6 children: Nancy Jane Willmon, Mary Lavina Willmon, Thomas Webster Willmon, James Henry Willmon, Alva George Willmon and Shepard M Willmon. By William Wadsworth M.G.[2]

In the 1850 census Shepard (age 25) was living in District 22, Marshall, Alabama (as Wildman).[1]

In the 1870 census Shepard (age 45) was living in Subdivision 45, Marshall, Alabama, United States (as Shepard Wildman).[3]

In the 1900 census Shepard (age 75) was living in Justice Precinct 1, Henderson, Texas (living with Robertsons). This is Ferrell's great-great-great-grandfather living with his great-great-grandparents[4]

Shepard was buried in September 1901 in Cottonwood Cemetery, Henderson County, Texas, USA. Stone: "There is rest in heaven"
