Benjamin was a Friend (Quaker)

Benjamin Winslow was born June 19, 1717 in Freetown, Bristol County, Massachusetts, the son of James and Elizabeth Winslow.[1]

He married Hope Cobb on August 11, 1738, in Falmouth, Cumberland County, Maine.[2][3]
