Katherine's father might have been born as early as 1366 but probably after 1381. Using this latter date and a minimum age of 14 for his marriage would place Katherine's birth after 1396 but her father was likely of full age placing her birth closer to 1407.
According to Bartrum, Owain was her second husband. Her first husband was Sir Harry Wogan of Boulston. Sir Harry's children were by his first wife, Dame Margaret Dyer.[3]
