Isham was born on 29 September 1789 on Little Pedee River, Rutherford County, North Carolina. He is the son of William Womack and Lucy Womack. He passed away on 25 May 1869 in Coffee County, Tennessee.[1] and is buried in Womack Cemetery, Coffee County.[2]
Isham married Mary Ann Stewart on 5 August 1810 in Great PeeDee River, Saluda, South Carolina.[1]
