Wife: Anne, lends her negroes Buck, Dick, Bett, Pheby, Nan and Archer during her life or widowhood and use of plantation whereon I know live on SS of Dan River. After my wife’s decease to go to son Charles Payne and said negroes to be equally divided amongst all my children then surviving. Tract of land I purchased from Edward Sparks to be sold.

Codicil: Since writing Will,have bought 131 acres of land from Robert Burton on upper side of Burton’s land adjoining the land I live on. Said land I give to my son Charles Payne. [1]
This profile is the result of an error on my part. I meant to hit REJECT and hit Merge instead. The profile that was merged into this was Woodson-148, same parents differing birth and death dates, same locations. I suspect they were siblings, one died the next one was named the same. Or, some other cause. [5]

Note: >Mary Woodson was the granddaughter of Dr. John Woodson, an English Surgeon, from Dorsetshire, who came over in the ship, "George" with his wife, Sarah, in 1619, and was one of the early founders of the Virginia Colony. She was born at "Curles", Henrico Co, the family home.
