Priscilla Yokum was born in 1773 in Bedford County, Virginia, to Michael and Ann Yoakum.

She married Frederick Mayberry. They had 14 children.

She passed away May 22, 1849, and is buried in Big Hill Cemetery, Broughton, Hamilton County, Illinois, USA
