Hey is buried at the East Poultney Cemetary, and he is listed as Maj. Heber Allen. Acording to some accounts, he was the first Town Clerk of Poultney. Here is a link the the info with pictures of his grave: http://tinyurl.com/yafe8ez

heber lived on East hill in Poultney, Vermont. He served briefly at the Battle of Hubbardton. He died a fewyears later. He is perhaps the least known of the Allen brothers
