Whare she was living with her parents, five siblings Maud age 20 years, Charles H 15 years, Nelly O age 11 years, Hazel D age 9 years and Raymond age 4 years. There were one servent 49 year old,Geo S Frosie as a Farm Laborer.Her father was working as a Farmer on land that he owned with a mortgage.^[4]

In 1920, 37 year old Mattie Ray. was living in Muscatine Ward 3, Muscatine, Iowa on Grand Ave. Whare she was living with her husband W. L age 37 and there two children Harry age 12 years and Ivan age 10 years.^[3]

In 1930, Martha Ray age 49 Continued to live in Muscatine, Muscatine, Iowa. Now at 512 East Third with her husband William and 20 year old son Ivan.She was working as a homemaker.^[5]

In 1940 at age 59, Martha P Ray was living in Muscatine, Muscatine, Iowa whare she was living with just her husband. She had only completed the eighth grade.^[6]
