I, Patricia Prickett Hickin, am posting this note on 30 Dec 2014: Please note that there are only 3 pieces of information in the original posting about Sally: 1) Born c1751 (uncertain), 2) died c1772 (uncertain), 3) married Patrick Henry’s son John Henry (no date, no location, no children).
In my opinion this marriage never happened. The website for Patrick Henry’s plantation has a section for Patrick’s descendants http://www.redhill.org/descendants_genealogy.html and shows John Henry with just one wife, Susannah Walker Henry White (my 3x great-grandmother by her second husband, Richard White.
Also, Sally is not shown with any other relatives, and right now (20141230-1402) I am removing John Henry as her husband.
On 23 April 2016, I received this emai from a genealogist at Red Hill:l
"Patricia, "Ancestry.com (and others) is rife with Sally Joneses, that were thought to be married to John Henry (the elder).
"There is a Henry descendant, Sallie Fontaine Wayt (1856-1888) in our database who married a Robert Henry Jones. They had a daughter named Sallie Wayt Jones (1888-1961), clearly out of John Henry’s time.
"We have no record of Governor Patrick Henry’s son John (1757-c1791 being married to anyone other than Susannah Walker.
"I hope this is helpful to you.

see https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/locke/2333/ - it mentions several other "Joneses", including:
William Henry, Jr. b 1789 Botetourt Co. VA. d. bef 1850 m. Sally Jones (this should actual be Robert Henry, William's brother. Robert Henry and his wife both died after the 1830 Sevier Co TN Census and before the 1840 Census. There two youngest sons born in the 1830s, Russell Jones Henry and John J. Henry were reared by others in the family.)
